Comenius Open Day in Portugal

In Portugal we ended the school year with the comenius Open Day Celebrations. Parents saw and applauded their children performances. There were plays, songs, tributes, work presentations, delivery of diplomas and of course, the comenius jingle "we want to be little farmers". Dressed up with t-shirts with the comenius logo, teachers, assistants and studants took part in the celebration.

Comenius Open Day in Poland

This is how we've celebrated Comenius Day in our school. There was a huge picnic for all the people from our village. It was a great success! We had stalls about every partner country over which our students and their parents prepered info and food. We also had some dance presentations, one English tradidional dance and two Spanish dances. Our students were so involved and the parents were so proud of their kids!

Let's plant gardens in POLAND

The garden was finally planted in Poland. The cold winter didn't allow it to be sooner. The mild weather of spring indicated the ideal time for planting. Again, we conclude that climates have great influence on planting and food production
And now ... Here it is, the Polish garden!!!

Experiments with sunflowers..

All schools will plant sunflowers to see how they grow and how they develop in the nine different countries, according to the climates and environmental conditions. We will monitor the growth of sunflowers and measure them to work in several areas related to science and mathematics.
